Re: Fiscal Year 2019 – Safety Training Grant
The Department of Industrial Accident’s Office of Safety has released the FY19 Workplace Safety Training & Education Grant Program Application on Monday, April 23, 2018.  We are now accepting applications through Friday September 28, 2018.
Companies and organizations are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to have the maximum opportunity for funding
If the number of qualified applicants exceeds funding availability, subsequent applications will continue to routinely accepted and evaluated.  Those that qualify will be placed on a waiting list should funding become available.
**Please review each section of the instructions carefully as some requirements may have changed**
The objective of this program is to promote safe and healthy conditions in the workplace by awarding funds to eligible applicants who submit responses designed to provide and improve safety education and training in Occupational Safety and Health to employers/employees within the Commonwealth covered by the Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Law (M.G.L. Chapter 152). Complete instructions, will be detailed in the FY19 Safety Training Grant Application.
For your convenience, we have created the grant application and contractual documents as writable PDF files.  The grant application and supporting documents must be submitted as one document to electronic.safetygrant@dia.state.ma.us as outlined in the safety grant check off summary.  Multiple attachments and zip files will not be accepted.
 
You must complete and mail the original contractual documents when you submit your application.
